Aims and Objectives

This advanced course aims to provide both conceptual and experience of interactive multimedia technology. It also examines the recent multimedia technologies and its influence on communication process.

Teaching Format

The course consists of lectures and tutorials throughout the whole semester. The lectures are designed to provide instruction and explanation of the concept, theories, principles, and provide students knowledge, and cases on multimedia technology for communication purposes. For the hands-on tutorial part, students will be focusing on learning some basic multimedia application tools. Students should make good use of the tutorial sessions and also weekend lab hours to get familiar with these software applications.
